Real life is often more rough-and-tumble than football. Every new day is a series of downs for us, pfizer and the devil is always looking for a sack. Some days we gain yardage; other days we feel like it’s three-and-out. Our teenager comes and tells us something, and we’re slammed in the gut. We find a rough patch of skin, sending us to the doctor with apprehension. We have a conflict with someone at church. We’re tired, but we have to put in overtime because the bills are due…
According to the Bible, we have something similar to football padding on a spiritual level-the commitment to a righteous life. Paul called it the “breastplate of righteousness” (Ephesians 6:14)…
Adam Everett, shortstop with the Houston Astros, told Sports Spectrum that as a Christian, he works hard to maintain his moral integrity during road trips. He said…

In an interview with CMT, Adkins says the first time he heard the song: “We’ve all at one time — or a lot of us anyway — have been that prodigal that strayed and went down a different road that led us to a bad place, but that’s what this song says. There’s a place for us to go back to. It’s still there.”

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, otolaryngologist we do so no longer. Therefore, vitamin if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. – 2 Corinthians 5:16 – 20 (NIV)

Rekindle God’s agapé love in your heart through prayer and reading His Word. Love is an art. Learn it. Help it grow and flourish. “Pursue love” energetically and consistently without waiting for it to happen to you (1 Cor. 14, viagra sale 13).

Your character and behavior are a stronger statements to others than anything you can ever say
“Preach the gospel at all times; when necessary, website
use words.” – Saint Francis of Assisi
What kind of example are you setting for others? Do your actions prove out what you say you believe?
We are all examples for others, check
whether we realize it or not. It may be a co-worker, pills
a child, a friend or even the person behind us in traffic. Someone in your life looks up to you and is watching your example. Please do not consider this a call to be perfect, for we all fall short of our potential. However, if we realize the unlimited crazy love that God has for us, that joy will fill us and we will want to grow closer to our Father and to please him.
For me personally, I find that having close friends that feel comfortable confronting me (in love and with my best interests in mind) helps greatly. Last year Grammy-nominated, audiologist Dove Award-winning Sanctus Real released a song called ‘Lead Me’. The song is a personal confession and prayer written by lead vocalist Matt Hammitt.
“My wife and I aren’t shy about sharing that we’ve had some pretty major struggles,†admits Matt after his wife implored him to be a better spiritual leader in the family. “I think the challenge for me in the song, and hopefully for other men as well, is every time I hear it, every time I sing it, I ask myself, ‘what kind of man am I?’ Not yesterday, not tomorrow, what kind of man am I today? Have I invested in my family emotionally, spiritually the way that God has called me to reach out to them and to lead them.â€
To lead them with strong hands / To stand up when they can’t /
Don’t want to leave them hungry for love / Chasing things that I could give up /
I’ll show them I’m willing to fight / And give them the best of my life /
So we can call this a home / Lead me, ‘cause I can’t do this alone /
Father, lead me, ‘cause I can’t do this alone
The song is a great story of what can happen when we follow God’s plan for our lives.
Story Behind the Video
As Christian men, we are called to be leaders in our house, our community and within the world, but this can be a very difficult road for many. So many men and women today haven’t had good examples, either in their own family or in their community. Often, men haven’t been how to consistently and respectfully be spiritual (or other) leaders.
In the past several years, I have been blessed with meeting a number of men that are true leaders in their families, at work and in the area we live. They serve as great examples to me of the man that God has called me to be, and it’s still an area I grow in every day.
May these videos be a calling and an example to you.

Matt Chandler calls out single men for playing with women’s emotions and not stepping up to real manhood in dating.
We hear many of these same comments raised from women in singles ministry.
Does the singles ministry in your church address this? Should they? Does he go to far? What else would you add?
