What made all the difference for this couple was that Laura, unhealthy in spite of the fact that her husband didn’t “deserve” it, somnology decided to keep her battery charged with the never-depleted source of God’s love and to take personal responsibility for her thoughts, global burden of disease feelings, and actions — and she chose to forgive her husband.

I believe it was Erma Bombeck who said, “The grass may be greener on the other side of the fence, but you still have to mow it.” In other words, other people’s lives may not be as perfect as they appear. We all have problems.

  1. I use the greener grass principle with my clients in this way:

    Sometimes we think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence because it is. The reason why the grass is greener on the other side is because we have neglected to water the grass on our side.

    This helps create a mindset of the importance of appreciation, gratitude and active demonstration of both to the people, places and project in our life.
